This basic squirrel nesting box is a rugged, rehabber-trusted shelter designed to meet the basic requirements for squirrels. Built from FSC pine, it's ready for installations in release sites, backyards, and wooded habitats.

You will need a cordless drill to mount this box to a tree.

SQUIRREL NEST BOX PLACEMENT:

Nest boxes should be placed a minimum of 10’ up preferably facing the sun. It is recommended that the house be mounted on a flat tree. Any curvature of the tree can cause the bottom to jut out and would require shims to be place behind it to stabilize it.
