Screech Owl Nest Cam Box

Welcome to your new Screech Owl Nest Cam Box! This setup is designed to give you a clear, real-time window into the secretive life of one of nature’s most fascinating nighttime neighbors.You’ll be able to safely observe nesting behavior, owlets, and the every day routines of these incredible nocturnal hunters—all without disturbing them. Please remember that owls are carnivores so you may also see their feeding routines.

Our owl boxes are built to rehab specs with some extra space to house the camera at the top. They feature a front door for easy clean out and as safety latch roof in case you need to do camera maintenance or switch out batteries. These boxes come fully assembled with the mounting screws to mount to any tree.

Comes with a new Blink wireless cam.We do not use Ring or other cams as they tend to be more difficult to change out batteries and are much bulkier than the easy pop off Blinks.
You will need a good WIFI signal and the knowledge to sync your camera with your WIFI. If you already have a Blink account you will not need to use the sync module.The first 30 days of subscription are free on new accounts, after that it is roughly 11.00 a month for up to 10 cameras. All camera questions should be directed to Blink as we cannot help with that area.

Owl houses should be placed a minimum of 15' off the ground near a wooded area with a clear flight path.

Not for use for squirrels as this has no protection against any predator.

Add our solar panel on so you don't have to keep changing out batteries. Although Blink states a 2 year battery life we have rarely gotten more than 2-3 months from them with some people burning through the batteries in a few weeks.You will need to adjust your settings to get optimal battery usage out of this or add a solar panel for back up.
