SQUIRREL NEST BOX PLACEMENT:

Nest boxes should be placed a minimum of 10’ up preferably facing the sun. It is recommended that the house be mounted on a flat tree. Any curvature of the tree can cause the bottom to jut out and would require shims to be place behind it to stabilize it.

These boxes are for flying squirrels. They have a 1.5" entrance hole. Greys,reds and foxers will not fit
