Flying Squirrel Manor

Looking for the mother of all squirrel houses for your flying squirrel colony? Look no further than Flyer Manor! All squirrel houses at NAS have been approved by wildlife rehab centers and comes with all the features you need to keep your critters safe and snug. Many of our houses are also use by biologists in New England and in the Forest Services. Flyer Manor can fit a nice sized colony of northern, southern or Humboldts flyers.

You will need a cordless drill to mount this box to a tree.

SQUIRREL NEST BOX PLACEMENT:

Nest boxes should be placed a minimum of 10’ up preferably facing the sun. It is recommended that the house be mounted on a flat tree. Any curvature of the tree can cause the bottom to jut out and would require shims to be place behind it to stabilize it.

These boxes are for flying squirrels. They have a 1.5" entrance hole. Greys,reds and foxers will not fit
